A quick watercolour painting of the same Blenheim Palace view that I sketched on the ipad a few days ago (see below). The autumn colours and bright sunshine are still here as I write and it will be December in a few days. Extraordinary but beautiful weather.

My first attempt at using ‘brushes’ app on the ipad. It’ll be brilliant for sketches and jotting down ideas wherever you are. Fun too that you can play as a movie, showing the brushstrokes as you made them! Something based around this composition will end up as a painting soon.
