These original watercolour and Indian ink paintings are available to my New York followers at a very low price of only $150 each – they are mounted and framed in black wood. The reason for sale price is that they are still in New York after an exhibition and shipping back to UK is costly. The framed size of each is approx 14 inches square. If you are interested email me email@example.com
A promotional piece I have prepared for galleries – an overview of the last year or so.
Another large watercolour (60 x 20 inches) painted on two pieces of Fabriano 680gsm paper bonded to wood.
This was my demonstration piece from my first watercolour workshop on Saturday ‘painting the elements’. I added the birds and did a couple of other tweaks this morning.
If you are near to Woodstock on Nov 2nd, come along to my workshop!
Quite large for a watercolour painting at 5ft wide. An early morning walk in The Cotswolds with the low mist in the valley, a very beautiful experience!
This is the second of the ‘invented’ landscapes I painted at the demonstration day last weekend. It didn’t start out as a night scene but the impressions of light on the water led me there over the course of the painting!
One of two pieces I did at Saturday’s demonstration in Woodstock. Painted from memory and imagination – inspired by memories of Connemara.
PAINTING LIVE MUSIC
Short video from a ‘painting music’ event we staged here in Woodstock in July. Really enjoyed this and will be doing more painting along these lines.
A page from my sketchbook, done in the local park. Like the colours!
This is the painting I did at the ‘inspired by music’ live painting event last Friday. A few finishing touches today and I’m really pleased with this one! Watercolour and ink on paper bonded to board.
Painted this morning whilst listening to Joni Mitchell’s Hejira album. I’ve not used such warm colours in a long time…very much out of my comfort zone!!
